Will uploading the bytecode version of my script override?
Will it override my original GPC entry in the Online Resources page?
If so, is there any option to retain my original entry? I don't want to lose all my Thumbs Up and stuff :(

You have to use the exact same file name to append your original data. If you use a different file name, it will publish as a new entry

Totally correct. So, an work published as script code is overwritten by the bytecode version if it has the same file name.
