A BT adapter is used to connect to the wiimote.

P.S. I use the Titan One for BF/COD wiimoting on both PS3 and PS4.

Yes I have a dongle attached. It was working 100% perfectly on my PS3 since I bought it in 2012

You will also need a Bluetooth dongle, as the Wiimote only works over Bluetooth.

Is there any possibility using titan one will cancel my warranty or can it hurt my system?

The Titan One is completely safe to use. It will not void the console warranty. From the console point of view, the Titan One is a regular controller.

How can I start the process on a refund of the license I just purchased last night? I believed I was purchasing something that turns out wasn't it at all. The advertisement made it seem that I would get crossover support when I am not. I would like a refund ASAP
