Plus it says its no longer supportted so idk why its still on there and mac doesn't up date it. He was on high sirre upto date mac os too When I try to update it and stuff won't let me. And I googled how to delete it but alot of ppl say if u do that you will break ur mac so i didn't want to do that with his macbook air anyway he said he'll just get a windows then ill set it up for him when he buys the new laptop or Desktop

Correct, Mac comes with Python 2.7. However, it does not work for CV purposes. You can safely install Python 3.8+ alongside the system installation. :smile0517:

For more details on how install Python 3.8+ on Mac please visit this page:

Hello i just bought an elgato HD60 S+ and itself is working fine. Now i installed computer vision and have all the green checks when i check in Gtuner.

Problem is when i click "Detect Devices" in Computer Vision tab (when you add a new video source) Gtuner crashes. I already have the newest version installed on my MACBOOK PRO.

Can someone please help me. I also tried to set this up on my mac with Bootcamp which didnt work either. Im fine with either as long as it works.

In the meantime, enter the input device index manually in the field named "Video Input Configuration" and select AVFoundation in the combobox.

The number 0 is possible the webcam (you can try 0 to check if the webcam image shows on computer vision interface). Then try 1, if not yet the Aver Media GC553, try 2, 3 and so on.

My capture card is Razer Ripsaw HD.
I have the same issue , it crashes if I click "Detect Devices".
I tried to enter the input device index manually, and click start, the App would stuck and got an error saying “Qsharedmemory create out of resources”
Please help me!

Can we have a desktop or app capture like Gtuner for Win, so that I can capture my xbox with OBS and capture OBS with Gtuner.
That way the Gtuner will not crash.

I tried everything to get it running on my MacBook Pro and PS5 Remote vision :icon_frown:
For some reason, the "detect display" doesn't recognise my second display, which I have connected. It only finds my webcam.

Can anyone help me?

Or do I need a capture card?
