GCV Error for a newbie on WIN 10

Postby belpoutre » Sat Jan 16, 2021 5:55 pm

Hello Gentlemen, sorry to bother you but I really need help.

First of all I want to clarify that I have no notion of programming, even very small .... however by trying to understand by switching from forums to google searches, I finally managed to install Python 3.9 and CV in the folder sites-packages as well as pywin32 or numpy . I encountered a lot of problems at different stages (nothing surprising considering my level) but I managed to get around them all. I finally managed to get this step clear :innocent_smile_1:

Image

then I tried to set up computer vision in Gtuner IV, i use Xbox stream companion with series X , following the recommandations in the dedicated post
Image

but when i try to make start in CV i have this error,
Image

so I check if it was properly installed by doing it and obviously everything is in order

Image

and honestly, I try to turn the problem in all sides, I can not get away with it ..

Could a good soul help me please ?

Thx by advance :smile0517:

try a lower pywin32 version: 227
run from within your python scripts directory:
Code: Select all
pip install pywin32==227

try with python 3.8 instead of python 3.9, using a new clean python install

I am using
python 3.8.1
opencv-python 4.2.0.32
pywin32 227

Thx a lot Scachi :

Now i just need to understand all the information in the 35 pages of this topic [GCV/GPC] Apex Legends CV Anti-Recoil, cause at this point i have no weapon detection . Always "none".

But probably because i don't have the right prerequisites ( like in game setting or something like that )
Or cause i'm using xbox stream app on a second monitor...
I tried to adjust the window in advance input settings but still haven't any detection.
I don't change default settings for brightness or anything but i usualy play with ALC so i have to try with 6/6 sens and "classic/small".

This will be the next step :innocent_smile_1:

In the meantime thank you very much for your help, it's very nice :smile0517: :smile0203:

With the xbox app most of the time this issue is caused by a wrong offset of the monitor configuration:
It may be looking 2 pixels in the x and 1 in the y direction out of place:
