Capture Card/Series X Setup Question
Technical question for those that might know.
I'm currently using a capture card (live gamer mini) with a Series X. The capture card will only passthrough in 1080p/60fps. I want to play at 1440p/120 and capture at 1080/60. Monitor is a Dell S2721DGF with 2 hdmi 2.0 ports, DisplayPort, 2 downstream USB ports, and 2 upstream USB ports. Would splitting the HDMI output from the xbox work? Or is there a way to output directly from the monitor to the capture card? Thanks

Re: Capture Card/Series X Setup Question
You would need to upgrade to the Live Gamer Ultra in order to support passthrough at 120 FPS. The mini caps out at 60FPS. This would be the easiest way.
Otherwise you would need to find a splitter that supports up to 120 FPS, and ensure its HDMI 2.0 compatible. Might not work, but Amazon has pretty good return policy, so you could try out an HDMI splitter and if it does not work, return it.

Make sure if you get them off of Amazon that they have free returns in-case they do not work. It can be tricky finding one on Amazon with accurate descriptions and specs.
