[Tutorial] Computer Vision on Mac
1. MOST IMPORTANT:
Open GtunerIV in Terminal app with sudo permission
For convenience, I have created a file that do the script quickly so that you don't need to open Terminal app every time.
You can download here.https://drive.google.com/file/d/1sSpNYdHGwigB-Gx8J4af0r3fa86F8HzG/view?usp=sharing
2. You must have a video capture card since Mac version of GtunerIV DOES NOT support capture screen or app window(can't use PS/XBOX remote play).
3. Make sure you have successfully installed CV, which means you can see 2 ✅ in CV preferences page.
The python path may be look like this "/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/3.8/Python"
Check here if you have not. https://www.consoletuner.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=15147
4. Now you can detect your capture card with no crash, no error!
5. Just hit play button, and voila !

Make sure you have installed 3.8 version of python, and the path you choose is 3.8 version. There are many versions of python pre-installed on Mac.
And you can find the path using "which python" in terminal

Re: [Tutorial] Computer Vision on Mac
First post on here - but I wanted to confirm that this worked for me too.
Xbox using a cheaper Mirabox 4K ($35-40 on amazon) with a macbook pro from 2017.
Still trying to figure out how to get everything set up but my computer vision is green and running
Thank you

Hey Licardo, thanks for this write up! I'm doing exactly how your wrote, except I'm getting an error "QSharedMemory..." Do you know how to fix this?

Re: [Tutorial] Computer Vision on Mac
Hello,
this is my python path: "/Users/giacomo/miniforge3/envs/py38/bin/python", which is a Conda environment. Anyway Gtuner seems not able to detect the python executable (see attachment screenshot). I use this same path in several other applications so I don't understand why it doesn't work.
Any idea?
Thanks.
