Computer Vision Linux Interface - without GTuner app

Postby lostkiwi » Tue Oct 19, 2021 3:10 am

Hi All,

Is it possible to communicate with the Titan 2 via python? I.e. without the GTuner App? Maybe via native HID commands, serial printout, etc?

Why? I run computer vision on linux and GTuner doesnt have an install - in any case I dont want to use GTuner while running (headless system). I have python scripts that do what I want but need a method to pass this info to the Titan 2 so it can use X,Y, Button variables in GPC scripts.

So, are there any python libraries that will support this? Is there a documented interface that I could implement in python? Options anyone?

I could implement a HID Mouse and pass this in but it seems clunky and prone to latency (minimal though). It would be great if I could pass values directly from python to the connected Titan without using the GTuner app. Any ideas?

Thank you!

You would still need Gtuner to use it's KMG feature.

I am hoping we get a linux release in the future.

Yes Linux support would be great.

I implemented a mouse interface for the mean time. Works great.

Thanks for the reply!
