CV lowest latency method? + Other questions
This is my computer. Im trying to find a capture card that my computer can run smoothly.
https://www.amazon.com/Acer-Desktop-i5- ... B01N5SXZY8
"List of working capture cards (UVC compatible):
AverMedia Live Gamer MINI - GC311
AverMedia Live Gamer ULTRA - GC553
AVerMedia Live Gamer HD 2 - GC570
Elgato Cam Link 4K
Elgato Game Capture HD60 Pro
Elgato HD60 S
Elgato HD60 S+
Elgato Game Capture 4K60 Pro MK.2
Pengo 4K HDMI Grabber
Razer Ripsaw HD"
Which capture card would provide the lowest latency?
can i run 4k 120 dobly vision on my xbox and TV, but capture 1080p or even lower for computer vision?
Is lower the quality of video prefered for making scripts based on capture? (Less pixels to read means less processing power needed? Also less details so higher chance for coding matching frames? right?)
i can spend whatever is needed, but id prefer to keep it under 120$. i dont plan to use the capture card for anything else.

Re: CV lowest latency method? + Other questions
for any future person to come here and read this, im going to post the research i learn.
keep in mind if you take your TV off game mode, youll notice that 80-200ms lag... ALOT. Your capture card latency is as important as your TV latency
"All Pro Capture family capture devices can support low latency capture, while USB Capture Family and First Generation products cannot;" .... as in forget anything USB related. maybe type C, but not USB-a
