    2018.02.23 Update:

    Future mouse configs will differ drastically from previous releases. Old configs had been built around an original Razer Mamba (garbage laser sensor) but new mouse has a much more accurate optical sensor. Mousepad has changed.

    Several weeks have since passed and after much trial & error testing with my new gaming peripherals I have concluded that it is best to build configs around a dpi of 1350 while polling mouse @1ms (1000Hz) / Titan One configured for native polling rate of the game console (XBOX 1X)

    I am now taking advantage of the more accurate mouse sensor in addition to the larger mouse surface area by tuning for slower and virtually true 1:1 analog-to-mouse translation. Treating the whole mousepad as one giant analog stick ring. As a result, negative acceleration has been completely negated and aim-assist is no longer a problem due to the fluidity of mouse output throughout the entire curve. Many of us tend to set our multipliers too high. This causes jerkiness because it does not allow proper translation of slower mouse movements which causes problems with aim-assist. I have been guilty of this until recently. In theory, higher dpi should provide a smoother translation but it will provide negative acceleration and pixel-skipping.

    2018.02.24 Update:

    I've dropped my DPI down to 450 which is the lowest you would want to go @1080p resolution. It's not about the max DPI output that your mouse is capable of but rather the quality of the sensor so it isn't wasteful to use low DPI with a quality mouse. It's excellent for emulating analog initial burst because low DPI provides highest possible initial burst and that's really the most important factor for fast-twitch shooters on PC and on console. Aim assist ON or OFF doesn't matter one bit. This provides the best velocity matching so forget about the high DPI recommendations that you've seen in the FAQ and give it a go.

    2018.03.05 :

    Purchased a XIM Apex and it will be arriving mid-week. Never owned a XIM product before but the superiority of the mouse translation is well-known. XIM for mouse & Titan for scripting - each product compliments the other when used together. This has been openly acknowledged on forum by just about everyone including the owners of each product..

    At this time I am uncertain as to whether or not I will be creating more MaxAim configs in the future so I wanted to share my latest and most-likely final universal config for the Halo titles. It has been serving me well over the last month.

Swapping to a new mouse made me realize how differently a config will perform due to variation in tech, surfaces etc. I spent the entire first couple of days retuning my configs. Now, I'm uncertain as to how beneficial it is to upload my settings on this forum.

    still in development... i've actually drastically improved on the configs to the point that the ones that are currently up on this thread aren't even in the same league. the aim assist really does feel non-existent now and all negative acceleration has been corrected. no more more wrestling with target friction. every aspect of it has been completely negated. vehicle driving and gunning , free-aim and targeting just glides and it's so effortless to the point that it feels like the game is aiming for you since you barely need to move your mouse more than a mm or two with red crosshair. basically, you receive the full-benefit of perfectly calibrated auto-rotation without the bs slowdown. best of all you only need 2 profiles. one for 343i and another for BUNGiE.

thoroughly tested different settings in-game menu for the sweet-spot. lots of pistol testing at close quarters.. i'm certain that these values produce the most accurate behavior of positive and inverse acceleration + aim-assist. this effectively eliminates slow-turn via controller or mouse.

These values bring H5 aiming more in-line with previous Halo installments.

    ADS Compensation:

    Both GPC files differ in one way. Button mapping. Left Trigger (Destiny or Halo) or Right Stick click (Halo only). Inject script into your config, if desired.

    Both, Destiny & Halo implement ADS-throttling. ADS compensation would prove to be most-beneficial for Destiny because hip-firing is less-accurate than ADS and you will be using ADS for close-quarters-combat. This makes it downright, essential.
    Recommendation: [ GPC: ADS-AP-Destiny.gpc ]

    Halo does not penalize players for hip-firing and, typically, if you're in-scope then it's because your opponent is across the map and, therefore, the sensitivity throttling will feel in-line with player-tracking.
    Recommendation [ GPC: None ]

After having spent three loooonnnnnnng weeks reverse-engineering , testing etc. we have finished the fight! Enjoy yourselves.

I assure you that any Destiny / Halo config that differs from these is incorrect! This will become blatantly obvious, to you, the very first time that you target an enemy. The aim-assist, now, works FOR YOU and not the other way around. The Destiny / Halo franchises which, in my opinion, had always been a black-eye for the crossover mouse-play gaming community, has defied the odds to become one of its brilliant crown jewels. All the while , demonstrating the limitless potential of the ConsoleTuner family of hardware and software. Impressive.

Anyone who has attempted to create a mouse config and/or used someone else's config for a Halo and/or a Destiny installment should understand the amount of quality time and effort spent that has led to this moment.

I know full well that the magnitude of this release is off the chart. It's ridiculous to think about the fact that I'm, only, just beginning to offer my services to our community, yet, I don't see how i could ever produce another contribution that would top THIS!!!

I truly hope that you love it.

It is evident that "117" drives the entire Bungie aiming model...
Furthermore, it does so using "7" COLUMNS & this is the ONLY methodology that balances this model..
