HI ALL , some of you know me, some dont, alot of you probably have ether used, played with, or based your scripts off one of mine , or maybe you havnt, lol , xP anyway, "Kniightmaare's" the name, codings my game, well actually black ops 2 is but never mind that lol, any of you using a linux disto?? and really really want to use gtuner on it??? then this guide is for you!! so here you go, gtuner on linux! enjoy -kniight

hello i installed wine and gtuner but gtuner shows me an error when i plug my titan one in (No Device Detected Please connect your device and try again) i do so but the error shows continuous. please help.

googling about this, it seems wine does not support windows device drivers, required to connect with USB devices. Perhaps kniightmaare can give us an input on this.

This shouldn't matter in the case of the Titan, since it uses the HID device class and hence is driverless.

My first thought as far as potential issues is USB device permissions. I set up a udev rule to ensure the titan comes up as world read/write:

My guess is that the udev perms are why I don't get a "no device connected" error.

As far as connecting, though, I get:

Connect Fail: Error code: 2, Device: TITAN TWO [E936FFFF6ADDC5713953343636392020FF011857]


What is the meaning error code 2? It might help me figure out what the specific issue is.

Occasionally I see this in the wine console, but it appears to be unrelated to the failure, as I've had it fail without printing out this:

err:hid_report:process_hid_report Device reports coming in too fast, last report not read yet!


I'm currently using Wine 2.18 on Ubuntu 17.10 - perhaps there's a fix in a newer version of WINE. Will try that next week.

Note that if someone were running Ubuntu 16.04, the included version of WINE would be too old to have HID support - it was added some time after November 2016 - https://www.winehq.org/pipermail/wine-d ... 15142.html - Not sure when it made it into a release, but 2.18 does appear to have HID support.

Hello to all.
Do you have any updates on this?
I tried with "Wine 5.0 on Ubuntu 19.10".
GtuneriV 1.6 works but cannot interact with the TitanTwo.

I never tried Wine. However you can use Gtuner Pro in a VM environment. I personally use VirtualBox, it is free and works very well.
