Glad to help, also forgot to mention If you use the PrintWindow API be sure to use the PW_RENDERFULLCONTENT flag (0x00000002), it's relatively new (added in Windows 8.1) and undocumented but it helps for certain Windows that don't render properly.

Will you be able to implement UWP support to capture UWP windowed apps within win 10?
Just a low priority thing but maybe can be done in the future? Xbox app is a UWP one for example, so people could capture the stream without the need of a 2nd monitor or capture card. Obs 25 added this recently but no idea if it has to be available in python language to work :)

I believe what PaulaTheKoala recently suggested in this topic has potential to also work with UWP applications. I am working on it. :smile0517:

Uninstall your current version of Python(which is 32bit) and install Python 64 bit.

Install "Windows x86-64 executable installer"
