Playstation 5: Remote Play & Other info.
Playstation 5: Remote Play & Other info.
Please be aware I do not own a Playstation so if any of this information is incorrect let me know.
PS5 FUTURE COMPATIBILITY
With new games and recent game updates requiring players to use only the DualSense the old solution of using a third party PS4 controller is no longer suitable.
There are two options right now until a better solution is found:
Remote Play
Or use the PS4 version of the game if possible.

REMOTE PLAY
1. Download Remote Play: https://remoteplay.dl.playstation.net/r ... 5_win.html
2. Log in with your Playstation Account
3. Connect both PROG and OUTPUT to the PC
4. Connect your Playstation 5 Controller to either port on the front of your Titan Two
5. Make sure remote play is enabled: PS5 settings -> System -> Remote play enable
6. Go to Gtuner and click on "Device Configuration"
7. Go to output protocol and select "USB PS4 Controller"

Re: Playstation 5: Game compatibility, Remote Play & Other i
BTW, I tried using remote play as detailed and could not get the remote play app on PC to recognize any controller through the Titan 2, no matter how I had set it up (with or without the prog cable, with PS5 controller, with PS4 controller, with non-PS controller, changing output protocol to PS5, PS4, Auto, others, combos of all these kinds of cases, etc.). I did get a directly connected PS5 controller (DualSense, connected to the PC, without the Titan 2) to work.

Re: Playstation 5: Game compatibility, Remote Play & Other i
I've found that this method works with Remote Play:
1. Force the Titan Two (via GTuner IV Device Configuration tab) into PS4 USB protocol.
2. Connect an original Sony PS4 Dualshock into the Titan Two "B" (front-right) socket.
3. Connect extra power via "PROG" (I use a Raspberry Pi 3+ micro-USB power supply).
4. Make sure you have green LEDs for "B" and "O" plus a stable number on your Titan Two. Disconnect and reconnect until you do.
5. Follow the Remote Play guidance here: https://remoteplay.dl.playstation.net/r ... 5_win.html
This method enables me to use an extra controler in "A", and probalby via Bluetooth too.
It works with Wreckfest and Ghosts of Tsushima - which don't currently work directly with a T2 into a PS5. Personally, on my internet, I've always found that Remote Play has connection issues, so it's a good idea to dial down all the graphical settings. It's not ideal, but better than nothing.
