Adding FootPedals (antithesis)

Postby Maxxgold » Mon Dec 14, 2020 4:13 pm

Hey antithesis,

I believe I’ve seen a few posts where you mention you have added in some foot pedals to your setup. I have a set lying around, and would love to add them in to my setup. Can you set me on the path to configuring my setup? I use the XIM Connected to the Titan Two, with a Sony Navigation controller and a Logitech 502 mouse. The foot pedal has two pedals.

Thank you! :innocent_smile_1:

All you need to do is connect the foot-pedal to the Titan Two and configure an Input Translator (GIT file) to map the 2 keys to the controller buttons.

I’m currently playing on my PS5, and with the 3rd party controller taking the Input B port, and my XIM taking the Inout A port, is there a way to add in the footpedal?

Is your DS4 or Dual Sense taking up the 3rd input port? If not, and you aren't having auth issues, you use a micro USB OTG cable to connect the pedals to the Program (Input C) port. The T2 recognizes when there's a controller attached there vs being plugged into the PC.

Thank you!

That port is open. I just wasn’t sure if that was possible. Now, I just have to see if I have that cable lying around. If not, I’ll order one. :smile0202:

Ok, I’ve created the GIT file. Where do I place the GIT file?

I assigned the foot pedal to keys N and M using the Kegol footpedal software, and then plugged the footpedal into the Titan Two. I created a new Input translator. I used Keyboard mapping and set N to Button_17 and M to Button_4. I clicked the Input Translator play button, and using device manager I could verify that both keys were working.

Also: This is a Kegol Foot Switch. Here are the descriptors.
