XIM 4 Rapid Flashing purple lights
I get rapid purple flashing lights so do I need a powered hub ? My setup is PS4, XIM 4, DS4, Logitech G13 Gameboard, Logitech 502 mouse. So would I plug in the G13 and G502 into the powered hub than plug the hub into a port on the XIM 4 ?
Thanks
Thanks

Re: XIM 4 Rapid Flashing purple lights
According XIM developer, the purple light on XIM happens when XIM is not able to send USB reports to the host within the expected time. Originally the Titan One was inquiring the connected device in the interval reports on the USB device descriptor. But the PS4 does not respect this information and inquires the device every 4ms (the descriptor is set to 5ms). This is what is causing the purple light on XIM, because XIM was expecting 4ms and the Titan One was doing 5ms. As explained before, this was fixed in our latest firmware update.
But back your question. I explained all this to ground my believe that an I don't think an powered usb hug would help on the purple light. But I may be wrong.

Re: XIM 4 Rapid Flashing purple lights
Finally I got my xim4 so I started testing the combo of t1+xim4 as well
J2Kbr or antithesis what settings of t1 would you suggest to avoing any performance and timing issues ? I mean if following options should be activated or not to avoid purple flashing of xim4?
Inframe Out,
Inframe In,
1ms Response,
partial crossover,
automatic discovery of platform,
etc
I would like to know any option that may spoil performance here. Thanks for help!

Disable all Speed Up settings, they mess with the Xim4 <> T1 usb sync (lots of purple lights).
Disable partial crossover, the Xim4 handles the reauthentication.
Leave Output Protocol set to AUTOMATIC.
You'll still get occasional purple lights, but they won't affect the performance of either device.
Are you on XB1 or PS4?

You shouldn't have any further issues. Don't follow the standard Titan One AU > 0 controller authentication procedure. Plug the DualShock, mouse & keyboard into Xim. Xim into Titan One. Titan One into PS4. Boot the PS4. Done.
The PS4's far more forgiving than the XB1 with a Xim+T1 setup, so it can be unplugged / plugged on-the-fly.

Thanks!
I've done couple of tests for different settings and it seems that deactivation of all additional functions brings the best results however I still feel slight performance degradation in case of t1+xim4 combo. Actually I was using t1 only for autospot and easy sprint so definitely I cant live without them

Run the GTuner app on PC, connect your Titan One and do the following -
Go to Tools > Options > Device
Disable all Speed Up Settings, they mess with the Xim4 <> T1 usb sync (lots of purple lights).
Leave Output Protocol set to AUTOMATIC.
For XB1 -
1. remove XB1 controller battery (it's not needed when connected to Xim4).
2. connect the controller, mouse & keyboard to Xim4.
3. plug Xim4 into Titan One.
4. plug Titan One into XB1 console.
5. Boot up XB1 cold. That means from a completely shut-down state, not suspended.
Xim4 + T1 + XB1 controller should now work. If not, try rebooting the XB1 console.
