Geo filtering question

Postby MillzyDagz » Fri Aug 23, 2019 10:09 pm

How do you geo filter without a netduma router because I don't have one and I have two consoles and I am trying to matchmake them together in comp but never seem to be on the same team, I made two new accounts to test it so they're both at zero points but it never works, will a proxy server and a vpn work and how? - I have a ps4 btw, thanks

FYI - I have owned two Netduma routers (original R1 and now Netgear XR700). For computer gaming, you have in game settings and controls for most games. For console gaming, you are limited to router options. Netduma made their mark because of they noticed the the router software was limited. Routers have come a long way including the open source router software. You may want to explore what is available via open source router software.

If they don't have geographical filtering, they may be able to provide restrictions using ping values.
