Hello all! Anyone using Mixamp and Sennheiser HD 598 or Mixamp + Hyperx Cloud Core or Cloud II?
I need advice that how is the sound quality of Sennheiser HD 598. I have checked the reviews on Amazon and people are saying that the voice quality of Sennheiser HD 598 is clear and it is good for gaming as we can hear the foot steps of fps gaming. The cost of Sennheiser headphone is $160 while Hyperx Cloud Core is for $79. Anyone can tell me is it worth ordering Sennheiser over Hyperx or I will just waste my money and should order Cloud Core? I read that the sound quality of headphones are better than headsets.

I will use either headphone or headset with Astro Mixamp.

Sennheiser is VERY WELL known for their quality. It really depends on what your needs and budget.

The best and most trusted source for headphones is head-fi.org.

I have purchased several headsets over the years, and I am currently gaming with the Sennheiser Game One. In my opinion, you can never go wrong with Sennheiser. If you don't want to spend the money on them, there are definitely cheaper options.
