Thank you for answering and the script! I had tried the simple version previously with 1000hz and still had it go over 100%, but lowering the input polling rate to 500hz keeps it under 6%. I had also tried lowering the polling rates before but now found out that you have to reconnect the controller for the changes to apply.

So it seems that Dualsense breaks the script. Even super simple at 125hz polling rate regularly goes above 100% usage. So weird.
