Hum I'm a bit puzzled, Tartarus is supported by XIM?

If it's supported by XIM then you should be able to everything my script supports. Perhaps you've misunderstood some of the setup instructions, if so let me know and I can walk you through it.

In you script your secondary gadget is "G", I do not have this letter on the Tartarus.
You use ESC, H, B...I can not map these letters in XIM since I can not input them with the Tartarus.

I tried remapping your commands to the keys that I do have which are unused by you: F, ALT,...
But I get mixed up because of the way you layer the commands in XIM.

Perhaps you can tell me how to remap the keys I don't have, or maybe you can create a Tartarus/Orbweaver configuration if you have the time?

Ah, got it! No you don't need to do anything on T2. This is totally achievable with your XIM.

Ok basically this is how it goes - you can remap ANYTHING. The only thing that you need to consider is that some things need to be dual mapped. I have created an annotated picture that should explain this to you better (ignore the setup instructions at the top, just look at the red box in the middle):



If you are still confused about this, how about you tell me exactly what mappings you'd like and I'll update the screenshot for you, customised for the Tartarus. Also tell me what you’d like your mouse mappings to be - the two side buttons, scroll up and down, scroll wheel click etc.

Here you go. Two things to note:

1) I accidentally listed Prone twice. Prone and Instant Prone are the same things. I've mapped this to Z for you. Let me know if you'd prefer X.

2) When you say:

"Melee ALT (Edit: I see you are using ALT to walk. MELEE can be MIDDLE MOUSE)"

You don't need to worry about this. I've set Melee to ALT, and walk to the middle mouse click.


Set up your XIM exactly as pictured below and you're all good to go!

Seems to be working great.

I do have a problem with Right Lean.
Usually when I hit "E" I get a Melee Attack.
If I do get a Lean it does not toggle, just drops to HIP when I release the key.

Also:
So the T2 is showing a "P" in the memory slot window. The PROG LED is off. Is this normal?
Also, I don't have an ESC key either. Can I just replace Esc with X in your purple screen above?

Oh, you can ignore that purple one altogether.

That's designed for regular keyboard users. If they are coming from PC, they are used to hitting the ESC key to back out, which I am trying to emulate there. If you're using a Tartarus then there's no point to it.

As for the "P.", that's part of my rapid fire mode.

Toggle between Primary and Secondary firing modes by double tapping and then holding the Reload button for a second, or by pressing the Swap button. Primary mode = no Rapid Fire, Secondary mode = Rapid Fire. Primary mode is denoted with a "P." on the LCD screen, and Secondary mode is denoted with an "S."

I put a dot at the end so it wouldn't be confused with Programming mode. Programming mode is a regular "P", where as my Primary mode is "P."

A good way to test Secondary mode is to use a pistol. Just hold down the shoot button to see it in action.

Can you post a screenshot of your XIM's Hip as well as the Right Lean page (so I need 2 screenshots)?

My only thought is that you have something else mapped to E, which is interfering with it. There should only be 3 things mapped to E (3rd last screenshot). If you have anything else mapped to E you're going to have problems.
