I have had the Gtuner software running with WINE without issues but it would indeed not connect to the titan two.
Fingers crossed for a Linux version of Gtuner

Re: Gtuner IV for Linux
Has anyone tired a VM and have had the Titan Two connect correctly? I remember trying it back quite a while when I first got the Titan but even with the USB pass-through I remember having issues with it being recognized correctly within Gtuner.
I would love a Linux version of the app.

With VirtualBox it works. I used before on Mac host and Windows guest. All that is needed to do is redirect the USB ID 2508:0032 to the guest machine.

Re: Gtuner IV for Linux
Good to know it's possible, at least on a Mac.
I just recently tried it again on a Windows VM run in Gnome Boxes on Pop_OS. I was able to get the Gtuner to recognize the Titan Two was connected but all I got was an error code 2 and this was with and without an SD card inserted.
I currently have a Windows machine that I use with Gtuner but I might try VirtualBox at a later date on Linux to see if I can get things working.

Any progress on a linux release?
Is it a lot of work to make Gtuner work with Linux?
@ Linux users please give a thumbs up for a Linux release to see if is worth putting time into developping a linux release.

It'll run and compile etc fine in WINE, but I haven't tried to download to a controller. I don't have high hopes tho, being usb.
But I've never tried to debug a USB connection using WINE and the Titan isn't your usual kind of USB connection so maybe?

Plus one for Linux Gtuner. Plus two for available source so I can compile and run Gtuner on my Raspberry Pi 4 with ARM (not an x86).
Hmm, could Gtuner be made open source? Something to think about.

Yes that is correct, running Gtuner in WINE isn't an issue, it runs fine, the problem is indeed with getting the titan two to work, which I have not been able to.
Hopefully WINE will get better USB support some day.

Re: Gtuner IV for Linux
Has anyone tried using a Titan Two on Linux to play games? Are there Linux games that can use console controllers? What is the configuration? Something like: Sony PS5 controller, T2 (translate to Switch, no script), A-EON X5000, Arch Linux 2021.03.01, Tux Racer 0.61, works well except that the nitrous oxide will not engage.
What I'm looking for is the quality of Linux USB drivers and BT drivers. If the Linux drivers are not so good, then maybe they should be worked on first. If the Linux drivers are good, then maybe the WINE drivers need work or work on a native Linux Gtuner.

I normally do not play games on Linux but as a test I ínstalled steam, connected my titan two with xbox 360 wired controller and it works fine.
With titan two set to usb ps4 it shows as driver usbhid in hwinfo, set to wired xbox 360 controller it doesn't show any driver info.
tested on xubuntu 21.04
Hwinfo shows the following:
