New Titan-Two will not always connect
I purchased my Titan-Two about 2 months ago and I’m just now trying to get it installed and working for the first time. When it works, the Update Checker says both are "up to date".
Software: Gtuner-IV v1.0.2.87 (1-24-2019)
Firmware: Titan Two v0.98.1.79 (1-24-2019)
Problems on initial connection to Windows computer
- The Titan-Two is continually trying to connect to Windows computer as a USB-device (you can hear the chimes repeatedly)
- RGB-LED is flashing (blue)
- Display cycles from bottom segment, shows 11, and repeats
- Prog LED is flashing/cycling from off/red/green and repeats
All flashing happens about once-a-second
I tried 2 different computers and 3 USB-cables (including the supplied gold-plated one)
It just keeps disconnecting and trying to connect.
If I run GTuner-IV nothing happens because Titan-Two is not even properly connected to the Windows computer yet.
Only fixes I've been able to discover:
1. Let it rest un-plugged for a while. Then it works for a while (normally, only until you unplug it).
2. Do the Bootloader procedure and re-flash. It seems to flash OK ... but then, still only works as #1 above.
I know a bit about computers, but new to something like this cool little device. To me, it doesn’t appear to be working properly. Can someone who is more familiar with the Titan-Two tell me if this is normal behavior? Also, any troubleshooting or fixes are welcome.

Re: New Titan-Two will not always connect
What console and controller? What do you have plugged into Input A and Input B? If you are using only one input, then try the other one. Are you using a power supply for the T2?

1. None are attached yet. I'm just trying to get it connected and working on my Windows computer so I can program it.
2. Nothing
3. No. It seems to get it's power from the PROG micro-USB port.

Re: New Titan-Two will not always connect
Can you possibly connect it to a console while also connecting it to your computer? The T2 power comes via the USB port - i.e. PROG or while connected to console. Connecting the T2 to a console would provide a different power source for testing the computer connection.

Re: New Titan-Two will not always connect
You can connect both to the same pc. Output and Prog to test if it stays connected in this case.
Test it with output only or output+prog, using two cables.
If you have a SD-card in your T2, try without it.
If you have a bluetooth module installed yourself, carefully remove it and try without it.

Re: New Titan-Two will not always connect
Thanks guys for trying to help.
No, the extra cable/power didn't really help.
I even tried it with both cables on the laptop.
i even erased the T2 and reloaded the firmware with the laptop.
It still easily falls into this mode where it can't fully connect to the Windows machine.

In the Device Options, please try check the setting called "Force PROG port to Full speed", this may help with connection with the computer.

Didn't seem to help.
But to be clear ... when it falls into this "error mode" it won't even connect to Windows computer (and show up in "Devices and Printers" as a valid Windows device).
So, at the time ... Gtuner isn't even running yet.

When it gets into this error mode, what happens when you unplug and reconnect it again?

No change. It stays in error.
This means you just hear the Windows "new USB device" chime over-and-over as it repeatedly tries to connect. I know it's the T2 itself because if I move it to a different machine at this time, it does the same thing on that machine as well.
