Option for PowerOFF the T2 device
Hey,
I would like to keep my T2 plugged in to my PC with an option to power it off via GTuner.
Since the machine is running nearly the whole day this would be a real nice feature.

Re: Option for PowerOFF the T2 device
I have my T2 constantly plugged into my laptop. It should not cause any issues.

Well, the bright, green power light and the circling 0 can be quite annoying if its getting darker imo...
Would be just a nice feature to turn it ON/OFF via Softbutton in GT.

There is an option already to turn off with the console.

+1
This is a valid request. The LEDs are super bright, so at night the LEDs are indeed rather annoying.
When you have the T2 plugged into a PC 24/7 and you accidentally turn it on by bumping one of the buttons on it
If your console is already off there is no way to get it to turn off without unplugging it, which might not be convenient based on your setup.
So 3 ways to turn if off would be nice.
1 Button in Gtuner
2 Hold physical Slot button on T2 past the recovery mode timelimit.
3 device_turn_off(); GPC code.

Or buy a short USB cable with a power switch in the middle. Make sure it's both data and power capable.

That would be pretty obnoxious to have to buy a USB power cord when I already went the extra mile and bought a dedicated power switch, and then having to flip both switches just to turn off the device. The device which can easily have alternative built-in methods to power it off.
There is no downside to this suggestion. J2Kbr already stated that he could add this.
