Fortnite Gamepack

I have the Fortnite gamepack and have been encountering an issue while trying to build. When I throw a vertical wall, I unintentionally throw a ramp as well. Obviously this is an issue when trying to build anything. I reviewed my settings and can’t seem to locate anything that would cause this. Can anyone help me out and explain how to stop this from happening? Thanks in advance.

do you have any of the "Instant Build" mods enabled? Also, what is the controller layout you have set in the game? Does it matches the configuration you have on the Gamepack? Thanks.
