Razer Tartarus V2 and Titan Two

I purchased a Tartarus. When I plug it in to my Titan Two and try to create a new Input Translator file, the only thing the Device Monitor is recognizing is when I press the D-Pad(up, down-right, left) on the Tartarus. Buttons 1-20 are not registering input. If I plug the Tartarus in to my laptop and open Notepad the keys have random letters/symbols associated with buttons 1-20. What am I doing wrong?
