Nintendo Switch using specialist mouse help

I am trying to get the Nintendo Switch to work with my specialist mouse. It is called the HMC mini joystick and it is not made anymore. I don't know the DPI of the equipment for the input translator or what conversion curve would work. Do I need to have a script to it working or doesn't it work with my equipment?
