new to the T2 game and need some help

hey all. First off i am computer savvy but not when it comes to code and programming. I have a MAC btw.The only thing I can load onto my T2 and get it working is the Apex Legends game pack. I don't understand the input translator and scripts yet. i want to learn but I cant seem to find an easy tutorial or a really in depth walk through.... any help would be appreciated.

its kind of overwhelming trying to find where to start in here.
