PS5 timeout fix

Postby Darwood0281 » Sun Dec 26, 2021 2:54 pm

Hello

I read on a google search that if you get a hori mini and plug it into input-B it fixes the disconnection issue.. Is this method true?

Yes, BUT right now it will only work for games that are ps4 games, if you are trying to play ps5 games on a ps5, it will not work.

A work around is coming next year, hopefully we will have new in 2 weeks about this fix.

"It will add 200 ms latency as well."

Is this good or bad?

Remote Play uses (LAN) Local Area Network for the controllers, if you play in the same room where the console is wired to your home router. So if you are using WIFI on your console, it will be even worse, but Wired on the console and your PC/Laptop, it's better but still, useless, imo.

Ok, I have to admit, it runs pretty smooth.
I got both (PC/PS5) wired on same router. Monitor is turned off, so that I see the graphics from PS5 on TV.

Played FC6 now couple of hours on my Elite and seems no big input lag so far.... just mho
