Request: Post Software & Firmware Updates To Forum

So I'm not sure if this is a thing, as far as I can tell it isn't.

Can we get two threads where you (the staff) post the change log to the forums?
I'm thinking 2 new admin/moderator locked threads where you post a new post for every pushed Gtuner/Firmware update. I love changelogs and I love updates but I don't always run the Gtuner software and I don't always check for updates.

With an official update thread my self and others could subscribe to it so that we get emails about new updates - particularly useful for noticing when new Firmware updates are out.

I'd really love it - and I'm guessing at least a couple other people here would too.
Anyways, it's just a thought!

Your idea is not bad but there is the updates notification when you open Gtuner IV.

Yep! I'm aware of that! But I'd love to be able to get an email about it while I'm working or just for the times I'm not running Gtuner and checking for updates manually. Figured a dedicated thread to it would make it easier to subscribe to and the least amount of extra work for the staff.

The Gtuner IV automatically checks for software and firmware updates when it is launched. The message is shown in the output panel with a beep when new versions are available.
