In preliminary tests the PS4 headset mic worked as expected with XIM4 (yours is Apex?).

Please try the following test:

On PS4, go to the Mic Level settings:



Here you can speak and listen you own voice, please check if everything is good with no memory slot loaded and WITH the script you regularly use.
