Input A & Input B switching

Re: Input A & Input B switching
Here is my test today. DS4 was plugged into Input B. Input A was not being used. Laptop and PS4 were connected. I have my BO4 script loaded into Memory Slot 1. Unplugged both laptop and PS4 cables from T2. I then plugged them back into the T2. I started BO4. It gave me a controller disconnected warning message on the screen. At that point it looked like the T2 was searching for a controller. Not matter what button I pressed, the controller would not respond. I had to unplug the T2, move DS4 to Input A and then reconnect in order to get it working.

I am not entirely sure, but my initial guess is that it may help in this case.

Re: Input A & Input B switching
Using only the DS4, why would it work with Input A and not Input B?

Which output Protokoll you use in pc have to be Xbox 360 And Xbox one
But you need a Xbox Controller for Frist Conection
Make a Video to See your Problem
Ps4 Controller dont work on Windows as xinput you have to use Emulator

Or set on the Titan two Output Protokoll Xbox 360 or Xbox one

This is not related to my problem.teddy18 wrote:Which output Protokoll you use in pc have to be Xbox 360 And Xbox one

@J2Kbr If only using a DS4, shouldn't it work on Input A or Input B? Why would Input B need a power supply? Unfortunately, my ac/dc adaper is only 1300mA, so I ordered a bigger supply that is over 2000mA. It should come in today, but I don't know how much testing I can do before leaving Sunday on my next business trip.

Re: Input A & Input B switching
Using a ds4 only works on input-a or input-b fine here.
Tested with a new (ps4-pro) and older ds4 controller.
No power supply used.

Re: Input A & Input B switching
Below is my testing sequence from today without the power supply.
1. Input A is empty and Input B is wired to the DS4 (new pro version). Laptop and PS4 were disconnected and reconnected to T2
2. Turned on PS4
3. PS4 kept asking for controller
4. Eventually it would found and sync'ed with the DS4
5. Shortly afterwards the Input B and Output LED would go from green to red
6. It would take about 15-30 seconds before it sync'ed up again
7. This would happen for about 3-5 minutes
8. I then would unplug the laptop and PS4 cables from T2 and reconnect again
9. Same sync problems, so disconnected laptop & PS4 from T2 and reconnected ain
10. Sane Results, so so disconnected laptop & PS4 from T2 and reconnected again
11. This time it sync'ed up and continue to work for about 2 hours of BO4
I don't know what causes it to lose sync.

Re: Input A & Input B switching
Here is some further results. Once I got the DS4 to sync on Input B, It was mostly stable. I had an occasional disconnect for about 5 seconds before it reconnected. It would do this about once an hour with testing for a few hours. I then played with the DS4 on Input A and I did not get any disconnects or issues for an hour of game play.

Re: Input A & Input B switching
Thank you for all detailed description and provided information. There shouldn't be any difference using Input-A or Input-B. I am wondering if the physical connection on the Input-B is causing that, perhaps it is more worn out than Input-A?

Re: Input A & Input B switching
Until recently, I have almost exclusively used Input A with DS4. When I used G29 with Project Cars 2, I disconnected T2 from PS4 and plugged the G29 directly into the PS4. . Once I tried Cars 3 with G29, I started using the DS4 on Input B to avoid switching cables back and forth.
