ASTRO C40 WIRED AND WIRELESS DESCRIPTORS
Re: ASTRO C40 WIRED AND WIRELESS DESCRIPTORS
Hi all,
Back to the topic I performed the update tonight. Now the Astro A40 is no longer working in wired or wireless mode. I went through this thread attempting to troubleshoot. So what I found is that when I plug in the output cable into the PS4 the Button 1 or ACCEL_1Y and ACCEL_1Z get stuck on in a locked state. No other buttons on the controller appear to be working when i'm viewing in GTUNER. If I flip the switch on the controller from wired to wireless (changes to HID) and then back to wired I receive the same result of a locked set of inputs (this time was ACCEL_1_Y only). This testing was done with the PS4 connected to output and powered on. If I start testing with the PS4 in the off state and the A40 inputs look good but once I turn on the PS4 an input locks again and the controller doesn't work.
Would someone please tell me what I'm missing here? It appeared to me that someone got it working but it's unclear on what the steps are to do that. Thanks

Re: ASTRO C40 WIRED AND WIRELESS DESCRIPTORS
thanks J2Kbr for the work to support the Astro C40 fully
Also I found that Battle Beaver sells C40 tension modules (stock, increased and extreme):
https://battlebeavercustoms.com/product ... 1365920855
They can be installed very easily:

I am waiting for the modules to arrive and hope it will fix the right stick being too loose

Is anyone having issues with the link between the controller and the TT? This latest update has rendered my Astro non-functional again. Thanks

The latest update implemented some changes to support the Astro's USB descriptors, specially on what relates to the audio interface. Please give more details how your Astro C40 is behaving after the update. Such as:
the status LED turns green?
Gtuner IV is detecting as PS4 controller?
the inputs are being recognized on Device Monitor?
thanks.

J2Kbr-
GTuner IV recognizes the controller just fine and is fully functional when the C40 is plugged into USB port 1 and the computer is plugged into program. Once I plug in the PS4 via the output port the C40 gets locked up. Sometimes it's the PS button and others it's a thumbstick or two but it's always one input and the controller is no longer responsive, in GTuner or within the PS4. The whole time I receive the two green lights prog and output. It takes a reset along with unplugging the output to get the controller back working again. Setting the output from PS4 or auto detect to Logitech Steering Wheel allows partial functionality because the sticks don't work.
Any other questions feel free to let me know. Screenshots via Imgur listed below.

I am also suffering from this problem and I am tired of waiting to solve this problem when I will be supporting control of any update and when the update will solve this problem ..
Unfortunately, I bought Titan for my ability to play with control Astro C40

Any idea when? Just kinda bought this device for this purpose thinking it would work. I don't mind waiting just hoping to know an approximation
