Apple iPad / iPhone

Thought people may be interested in some work going on to make the Titan Two work on iPads and iPhones.

An update here: https://switchgaming.blogspot.com/2019/08/gamepad-to-mouse-to-touch-ios-and.html

Image

Currently, it takes Apple iOS13 Beta: https://beta.apple.com/sp/betaprogram/...
... a gamepad to Mouse HID script (and disable the joystick part in GTuner IV): https://www.consoletuner.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=13195&start=20

Plus an official Apple USB 3 Camera adapter with power, and then using a 2amp battery pack or iPhone/iPad charger into the apple adapter to give it enough power.

A few hoops, but it works, which is something!

There's hopes for wired or wireless USB gamepad connection through a Titan Two, but it's not possible yet.

Great news. With the iOS13 update, it's now possible to use a Titan Two (with some bits and bobs) to play many games.

More here: https://gameaccessblog.org.uk/apple-arcade-ios13-with-alternative-controllers/

Huge thanks to Scachi and Jefferson for helping to make the joystick to mouse (to touch) side of things work so well.

Basics:

iOS13 device (e.g. Apple iPad Air 2 or better)
Apple USB 3.0 Camera adapter with iPad charger connected (or 2amp battery pack/alternative).
Titan Two with PS4 controller attached in AUTO mode.

Use Gamepad 2 Mouse script (via GTuner IV Online Resources)
Add a simple gamepad script in slot 2 with PS4 or AUTO protocol.

Great news. I believe it will also be possible to use the Titan Two with iOS13 over Bluetooth, emulating a PS4 or XB1 controller. Will be checking this shortly.

It looks like they had the same bug that I did, when connecting the titan two wired (I can't get it to connect via bluetooth) the sound is rerouted to the controller, killing the iPad speakers. The only way to restore any sound is with headphones/external bluetooth speaker, here is no option to play the sound out the iPad speakers.

I haven't been able to get the titan two to connect via bluetooth, just wired and only with the ps4 bluetooth output (Setting the output protocol to usb xbox one/ps4 usb output, or connecting in any manor via bluetooth did not work.)

Obviously, this audio bug doesn't happen when using the xbox one/ps4 controllers connected without the titan two, so it should be possible to figure out a fix, I would think.

Is there anyway I could get this working with a Sony navigator controller as left stick and a Logitech g502 as right stick?

Yes, this is exactly how I normally use to play FPS games. :smile0517: PS Nav + G502.
