G25 with xbox one

Hi I'm new here,

I have a G25 and a titan two. I am trying to get this working with my xbox one X, theres a few games i would like to use this with but ideally forza horizon 4.

I've searched the forums, looked for guides and similar questions but had no luck.

Where I'm at:

Titan Two running latest firmware

Has SD which has been formatted and configured

can connect the wheel to the titan two - It has a green light, on device monitor all buttons and movements detected (input listed as wheel)

at this stage if I connect it to the xbox everything is still fine. However I was under the impression that it would be detected as a wheel (for games with wheel support).

I can change the output protocol to "USB logitech Steering Wheel" which results in the titan requesting authentication (auth from what I'm not sure. I do have an xbox controller connected to the second USB port but it makes no change to this status)

With it set back to automatic some inputs are detected in game but don't really line up to the correct things. I have tried a few input translations i found in my searching but none have got me to a workable state.

Long story short I guess I have 2 questions:

Is there a config where it will just detect as a wheel on the xbox side?

If the answer to the first is no, whats the best practice/ has anyone already made something for this?

If not happy to try to create something just hoping my first few attempts could be something more basic haha.

Welcome to our forums.

It seems you are doing everything correctly, please try this:

- Titan Two configured with "USB Logitech Steering Wheel" in the output protocol;
- A regular XB1 controller into Input-B.

After connecting the Titan Two output to the XB1 console, the display keeps showing AU or it briefly shows AU and then turns to 0?

Thanks

It keeps flashing AU

If the output is set to Auto or xbox it's a 0. As soon as I set it to USB Logitech Steering Wheel it changes to AU and the xbox doesn't detect input from the wheel or the controller.

All the lights are still green. On the device monitor the titan two can see all the inputs from both the wheel and the controller.

Everything listed looks right:

USB A Steering Wheel G25 [IN]
USB B Xbox One [IN] (Auth Passthru)
USB C Steering Wheel G920-XB1 [OUT] (Auth Passthru)

Thank you for your feedback. You seems to be doing everything correctly on what relates to configurations and connections. Please allow me until early next week to re-test the USB Logitech Steering Wheel output protocol on Xbox One to check if still working as expected (maybe some recent update on XB1 broke the support). Thanks.

Not a problem at all. Thanks for looking into it.

Have you had any luck looking into this.

I tested with my G29 and worked. I will be lending a G25 from a friend to check.

In the meantime, please re-test with the latest Titan Two firmware update (1.05) to check if it there is any improvement.

Thank you.

Ah ok,

I've retested on the latest and it still does the same.

But what I also tested was:

Lastest firmware

Prog connected to PC

Output connected to xbox

USB B connected to xbox controller

Output protocol Logitech USB Steering-wheel

But without my wheel connected and even at this stage it asking for authentication. Was your test with a xbox one X ?
trying to thing what in my setup would be different.

Is there any verbose mode to get more information from the titan as to what it wants authenticated?

I am testing with an original (betamax lol) Xbox One.

I have just tested as you suggested (without the wheel), as the following:

1) Titan Two connected to computer with Gtuner IV opened;
2) Configured the output protocol to: "USB Logitech Steering Wheel";
3) Plugged a Xbox Elite controller to Input-B;
4) Plugged the Titan Two output to the Xbox One.

The AU was displayed for a second and then the display tuned to 0 (as expected).

From this point I could operate the console with the controller's DPad and face buttons.

Here is what I got in the device's monitor status area:

Interesting. I've tried a few more things to rule some stuff out.

I've tried different cables and got the same result.

if I try the same setup on my PS4 (with a ps4 controller plugged in ) It works perfectly even with the wheel
- Output listed as G29

Connecting to my pc with this setup, output is set to G920-XB1 [OUT] (Auth Passthru) - Xbox controller is in port B

This behaves the same as the xbox AU flashes indefinitely and input from the controller is not detected on the pc. (I can see the button presses on device monitor)

At this point it felt like it either didn't like my xbox controllers (I have two and tried both, both of them are the one S bluetooth compatible ones but using them over micro USB ) or the G920 profile.

I reconnected it back up to the xbox, output set to automatic. Dual shock 4 in port A (AU flashes)

A second after connected the xbox controller to port B it changed to a 0.

As yours works and mine doesn't I'm going to format my SD card and reconfigure and also try a different SD card and report back.

Edit: Tried that and its still doing the same thing.
