Start Script/macro from PC

Hello,

Is there a way to run/"fire off" a macro I have created from the PC that programmed it, NOT via Gtuner. Via a command line, or even a keystroke from the PC plugged into the PROG port?

if yes, if you could tell me the best practice I would appreciate it !

Yes, You can do this.

Example;

Plug the T2 into the console via output and to the PC via prog.

Gtuner>File>New>New Input Translator

A --> BUTTON_1

Save the input translator when done, install to a memory slot.

Create your program or something like a AHK script to send the A key and it will output BUTTON_1 to the console.

Make sure KMG Capture is running in Gtuner; F4 or Tools>KMG Capture and select the keyboard.

can I have the input translator, and still have the GPC loaded?

Maybe there is a step I am missing. Not sure the best way to have both the "keyboard C button = button 2" and "button 2 = run this script" function at the same time.

OK i was able use the line if (key_status(KEY_F1)) to get what i needed.

Is there anyway to run KMG capture outside of gtuner?
