[SOLVED] Astro C40 not recognized at all

New firmware update available. Astro C40 fully working: PS4 authentication, wired and wirelessly; with and without headsets.

Glad to have purchased the controller, if not I would never figure-out what the issue was. The problem was not related with the actual implemented PS4 driver, but with the headset audio protocol.

New FW version was just release (1.6.3.3) with a minor improvement. It prevents, when using Astro C40, the LED from the Titan Two lightbar and others connected controllers to turn off. If the C40 is in full passthru mode, the PS4 will not send LED status as the C40 does not have lightbar, which was turning off the LEDs of the Titan Two and others controllers. The latest update fixes this issue.

BTW. The audio from Astro C40, using exactly the same headset, is noticeable better compared with regular PS4 controller. The steps from nearby enemies are much easy to hear. I am really impressed.

Yeah right? The audio settings in the software are awsome iven over a cheap headset, the controller improve the sound quality.

Everything works fine now. I'm now able to use the T2 without a second controller, I'm really happy!
