Controller Firmware 4.8 No Sound
Hi there
I have a strange problem
when I connect my controller with firmware 4.8 to the Titan Two I have no game and menu sound
Voice chat works
If I connect my controller with firmware 3.1 to the Titan Two, I hear everything
Game menu sound and voice chat.

I assume your controllers are for XB1. Could you please provide more details about the controller models you have? Is the original version (without Bluetooth)? the Elite? the S model (with Bluetooth)? the Elite S2? the Adaptive Controller? Thanks.

Re: Controller Firmware 4.8 No Sound
Hi
Yes of course so my console is the model Xbox one S 1TB
Controllers are both model 1708 white
a controller has firmware 3.1 works very well
the other controller has firmware 4.8 and there is no ingame or menu sound
if I connect the controller directly to the console, both go perfectly
Original controller with Bluetooth.
I tied everything by cable.

Re: Controller Firmware 4.8 No Sound
Thank you for the information.
I have just tested a XB1 S controller with firmware 4.8.1923.0, all working as expected: audio and mic. I used a stereo headset plugged in the 1.8mm jack.
Does your Titan Two have the latest firmware? version 1.6.3.3

Re: Controller Firmware 4.8 No Sound
The lack of audio is everywhere (including in the Xbox dashboard)? or just while in the game?
Are you also using the 1.8mm jack? or the accessory connector?
Thanks.

Re: Controller Firmware 4.8 No Sound
This may help,
Hold the Xbox button on the console for ~20 seconds,
This will turn your Xbox off and will also clear the Xbox's cache.
Next just turn the Xbox back on, and try testing the controller again for audio.
