Thank you for confirming, the red light indicates that there is an issue with this controller or microUSB cable. Not the Titan (also seeing as though the issue happens with both the T1 and T2).
I understand how frustrating it can be troubleshooting, faulty controllers, sadly, I cannot assist you further than what I already have.
