Black out PS4 - titan 2 - Xbox Elite 2

Postby LSL » Sat Sep 19, 2020 5:51 am

Since the Blackout update yesterday my controller has been disconnecting and slow to respond. I've never had this issue before .When I load into a lobby it disconnects and then reconnects but the color indicator changes and flipping through the presets doesn't seem to help. Any ideas how to fix this? I've also updated the software.

Have you tried it without the T2, does it still happen?

What script are you using?

I have used the PS4 controller attached to it and there is no issue with that controller. The only script I use is the "disable share button" script although I have loaded some other scripts for blackout and the behaviour is the same, slow to respond and disconnects. What is super interesting is that when I get out of a game my Titan light goes back to blue, which is the default colour when it was working but when I load into a lobby it turns pink or orange and the weird randomness starts. That has never happened before. For reference I have been using this setup for about 6 months with no issue. I power up my PS4 by pressing the PS button on Dual Shock and then my Titan turns on, lights up blue, loads the 1st preset and the elite controller works- no issues. Interestingly as I'm in a solo match just watching the behaviour as I type this my controller just disconnected completely from my PS4 and then reconnected but nothing changed on the titan. So odd.

It seems like the game setting update has loading something that is detecting a third party controller and trying to make it disconnect. But I don't know. Thanks

You're keeping the PS4 controller plugged into the T2 at all times, correct?

Yes. The only thing that changed was BO update.
