How do I record a basic macro and put it in a memory slut?

Postby HiGPS » Wed Sep 23, 2020 8:38 pm

Hi. I've been trying to record a macro and put it in my Titan Two internal memory slot, it's only two button presses. But I cannot drag it to the memory slot as everything is grayed out.

Is there any easy guides or videos showcasing how to do this?

The load memory button is grayed out

You can't use macros without a sd card.
You need to convert it to a combo and run it as a combo.

I got a memory card, but the memory slots are still grayed out in the software.

You don't put a macro into a memory slot directly.
Drag the macro file to the "Macro Explorer" section below the Slot list and the .gmk file should be copied to the sd-card.
Make sure to only use 8 character long file names for that macro file.
Then install a script file to one of your T2 slots that starts your macro .gmk file.
For an example script to do so see: https://www.consoletuner.com/wiki/index ... s#playback

With a sd-card you can use the "macrorecplay" script now (available via GTuner IV->Online Resource). That enables you to record and playback a macro without having to do any coding at all.
Click the doc link for that script in the Online Resource for more information about it, use take a look here:
