Can use T2 to play on PC?

I am trying to get T2 working to play Assassin's Creed 2 on PC (via Epic Games) but am having an issue getting the T2 working on PC.

When PS4 controller is connected by cable directly to PC, the controller works.

But when I connect via T2 (with an autorun script that works fine on PS4) it doesn't work.

I setup the T2 and PS4 controller physically to PC (using T2's Output port) and switch T2 to use memory slot 1. But before even starting Epic Games launcher (or the game), the T2 reports "AU".

AU is "AU: Console authentication, connect the correspondent official controller to any available INPUT port."

So, should I be able to use T2 to play on PC?

Also, I notice someone else perhaps may be having a related issue.

I managed to get it working with DS4Windows in the end.
