USB-A & USB-B give different results

Postby DeviateSquirrel » Fri Apr 09, 2021 6:52 pm

When I plug my joystick (VKB NXT) into USB-A the smallest value I can reasonably get the stick to move is about 1.0. But when I put that same stick in USB-B the smallest value is about 10.0. It's not adding 10 to the value... I actually have to move the stick more to get it to register.

This is raw input, BTW. No scripts enabled are running.'

Eventually, the joystick in USB-B will move to the PROG port via OTG. Should I expect the same behavior or is there something I can do to resolve this?

I'm not sure if the smallest value is actually 10.0 or not (and I don't know how I would tell what it is on the PROG port if it were different) but I could, I supposed, use a LERP on the values from 10-100 to remap the range. Is there a way to capture the actual value for this?
