The same problem to mine.So I guess the firmware has some problems.

I use mine with no issues on both the XSX and the Switch and haven't had any issues.

Other 2.4ghz devices can interfere with the adapter and cause disconnections such as mobile phones, routers etc.

You could also try connecting the adapter to the PC and then using KMG capture. https://www.consoletuner.com/wiki/index ... kmgcapture

It might be because the xbox adapter was too hot. The xbox adapter disconnection problem mainly comes with the xbox wireless adapter v2(the smaller one). If the adapter is too hot, it will disconnect your xbox controller. I have not been confronted with the trouble to lose the connection by using the xbox wireless adapter v1(the bigger one).

Possible solutions:
(1) cool down the xbox adapter being used.
or
(2) use the xbox wireless adapter v1.
