2nd Generation Microsoft Wireless Adapter?

I purchased one of the smaller, 2nd generation Microsoft wireless adapters that were recently released last month and while it works fine on my windows machine, it wont even illuminate the LED when I try to pair it when plugged into the Titan Two. Is the second generation wireless adapter not compatible? Its much smaller than the original wireless adapter and also is supposed to resolve the connectivity issues some people experienced with the first generation adapter.

I have the new Xbox Wireless Adapter about to be delivered to me, after receiving it shoun'd take more than two days to release an update with support for this new adapter. Thanks.
