See my last post in the original Xbox wireless thread regarding 5GHz WiFi interference. It may be relevant and was certainly causing my random elite controller disconnects.

Re: [Problem] Frequent disconnects with Xbox Wireless Adapte
So about once per day while playing BF1 on Xbox with Elite controller, T2, and first gen Xbox Wireless Adapter, my controller will still disconnect from the adapter. It now only occurs when there's a large explosion in-game right next to me. I thing the rumbles are still overloading/messing up the adapter. I now cannot count the number of times I've died in a match in BF1 because my controller disconnected right in the middle of a game. I'm on T2 firmware Ver 0.98B-34 from March 13th, the build that was supposed to have fixed this issue. While that build did help majorly, it's still an issue for me. What should I do?

thank you for the feedback. I am investigating this. As temporarily workaround, please disable the FFB on the port you have the wireless adapter plugged.

How do I do that? And does FFB stand for force feedback?

yes, force feedback. In the Device Configuration panel (Gtuner IV) there are checkboxes which you can disable the FFB on specific ports. Just check the one you have the Wireless Adapter connected. thanks.
