[Switch/T2] Single Joy-Con mode setup

Postby Buffy » Fri Feb 14, 2020 6:01 am

Some games on the Switch only allow the use of single Joy-Con mode (notably Mario Party and Pokemon Let's Go). Currently, the T2/T1 do not have this output protocol, and some workarounds are necessary.

Hardware needed:
    - Android device with Bluetooth
    - OTG Cable compatible with said Android device

Software needed:

Steps to setup:
    - Set your T2's output protcol to Xbox 360
    - Plug the OTG cable into your phone, and connect the OUT port of the T2 to the female end of the OTG cable
    - Enable Bluetooth on your Android device
    - Open Joycon Droid and select Map Buttons in the top left hamburger menu.
    - After all buttons are mapped, select either Left Joy-Con or Right Joy-Con in the app and sync it to the Switch

NOTE: Instructions on how to sync Joycon Droid to your Switch can be read within the app itself. Also, not all Android devices may be compatible with Joycon Droid or even the T2 itself.
