Thank you ^^

Edit: some update from me, I thought that maybe the new Mac OS has security features that prevent virtual machines from performing write operations to USB devices. But I plugged in a USB thumb drive and I can copy files to it via the virtual machine just fine.

Sorry for the late reply. I did the update procedure using my wife's Mac and everything worked as expected. Please note I added both Titan One VID:PID in the USB settings of VirtualBox, as shown in the screenshot below:

I did that too:

...And it still doesn't work.

Yeah, I think I should give up now... Maybe if I buy another Windows operating system device. Titan One was useful when it worked for me.

Here are my environment context just in case it gives some clues:

My Mac OS version is 10.12.1 Beta (16B2338c)
VirtualBox is 5.16 r110634
Windows virtual machine is Windows 7 Home Basic (64-bit) Service Pack 1
(I installed Windows 7 virtual machine pretty much to install Gtuner Pro. Maybe I need to install something more?)
Gtuner Pro v3.50
Titan One FW v.238
I have tried to use different mini USB cables

Sorry it is not working for you. Alternatively you could find a windows machine just to update your device, and then use the VM for the regular operations.

I finally managed to firmware update Titan One. The solution was to use Windows 8.1 virtual machine instead.

So it seems the culprit is Windows 7... I noticed now that J2Kbr tested using Windows XP.

Thank you for the update. I was using Windowx XP in my testings.
