This way you can use R1 as the ACTIV_BUTTON also.
The way you described it, made me think that once you press right on the D-pad and R2 together ONCE, then every time you press R2 from then on out, it would trigger the script, but it didn't work out that way for me. I wasn't able to repeat the very well with the code you provided.

It works fine for me, you have to quickly press R2 after RIGHT but yes you have to release it and redo. Just and idea to try it with R1.
