Titan one stuck on 1 and 3

Postby gbr-jayjay » Mon Dec 31, 2018 7:40 pm

My Titan One all of a sudden switches between 1 and 3 slowly but doesnt function or allow any input from the DS4.

Initially I had 9 scripts on the device. It wouldn't change to any and would only swap between 1 and 3 itself, again, no input.

I have tried updating the firmware to the latest, resetting it and getting rid of all the scripts then putting the firmware back on and still doesn't work.

I have been using it for a while now without issues. The issue only came about when I added a new script. But I've since removed all scripts and still doesnt work.

Please help

Hello, is it a 3 or a E ?

I'm sorry to hear that but:
E1: Means hardware faulty. The device needs to be replaced.
E2: Means security check fail. The device is not genuine.
E3: Means software error. Please report to development team for further investigation.

But it's not dead, i have had some devices showing E1 that was fixed with a firmware recovery.
Did you tried that:

You have to redo the "FU" (Firmware Update:) after the recovery mode.
Console tuner since my 1st controller.
Scripting, a game in the game.
Believe or dare, It's Titanic! :smile0517:

Hi,

Thanks for replying.

You were right, it is E1. I have tried an FU after recovery mode and just did it again but to no avail.

I have to hold the device in a certain position to get it connected to the laptop so maybe it is indeed a hardware fault.

It's strange as I've only used it about 5 times.

Based in your description it seems the device’s hardware is defective (E1 = hardware defect). I am sorry for the issue. Please contact the retailer you purchased the device to check if still possible request a replacement. If not, we can provide free repair service if you pay the shipping costs to send and return from the factory (China).

Alternatively, I can offer you the Titan Two at wholesale price + shipping via factory-direct.

Please PM me.
