Cannot Authenticate on Xbox One

Hopefully, someone can help...

When I plug in the Titan One to the XB1's USB port, it blinks "AU" as expected. However, when I plug in the XB1 controller, the Titan One continues to just blink "AU". I do not get the 0 indicating that authentication is complete.

I have set the Titan One to both XB!1 and Automatic, but get the same result. Am I missing something here?

If there are more explicit steps, please let me know.

What lead are you using to connect the XB1 controller to the T1?

It may not be suitable and might not carry data.

Try connect your controller using the cable directly on any Windows PC (without Titan One), to make sure the cable is working and carry data. Maybe your cable is for charging only.

What Micro-USB cable are you using to connect your XB1 Controller to your T1 ?

Are you using the Play & Charge Kit micro usb cable ?

Sometimes when you unplug the micro usb cable from the control and plug it back in, it works. I'm using a play & charge kit micro usb cable btw, and it works perfectly.

Or like j2k said it might just be a charging only cable.

Hey all, I've been having this problem as well, using the same cable I used in the first place that I was successfully using in the past. One piece to add in my scenario, I'm a member of the Xbox One Preview Updates, and it was after I downloaded the new preview that it stopped working.

Can you give us more information about this? When you updated your console with the preview? This preview is already available for the public? Which version number you have?

I just tested my Titan One with the lasted XBox One update, and everything is working fine. Technically I can't see how a update can make our device stop work, as it just bypass the authentication to the controller. The XBox One has no way to detect if it is an original controller or a Titan One.

Either I did something wrong at the time or it was related to the swath of problems Live had last week. Either way, it's authenticating fine now, sorry to cause a stir. I'll chalk it up to user error.
