T1 Firmware Update/Scuf Vantage 2 Support

Any news on a firmware update to provide support for the Scuf Vantage 2 ? Seems that an update for this has been in the works for a while and I just need to know if no update will be available then I need to upgrade to another device so I can use my Scuf.
