No input with Densha de GO! controller (DGOC-44U)

Hello,

I have a Densha de GO! USB controller (specifically, DGOC-44U) that is a standard HID gamepad. I've seen people making it work with the Titan Two, but I'm not getting any input with it connected to the Titan One. Device Monitor shows the controller correctly detected as HID, but no matter which buttons I press, no input is detected.
